In the frozen north of a western continent aptly known as terror nova, or to the Dark Elves as Naggaroth, the prairies of bloodgrass and the shadowy pine forests slowly give way to a vast snowscape, the borderland between reality and the realm of chaos. In these arctic wastes stands a line of watchtowers, the first defence and warning of any incursions sweeping south, be they roving monsters or barbarous hordes. Of course, since Bloodbowl grew in popularity and provided the dark gods with as much bloodshed, trickery, hedonism and imperfect sporting hygiene that they might desire, such incursions have dwindled to almost none.
The Frosthold Falcons were once a garrison of a particularly far-flung watchtower. Now bored with their assignment, they seek to make a name for themselves on the Bloodbowl pitch. Scrupulously polite, the team nonetheless have made it a point of pride to commit some novel malfeasance in every new season they play, such that the rulebook has had to be placed in ringbinders to account for the regular updates to the conventions that they inspire.
