BB7's Ladder

Welcome to the amateur game! Get out on that muddy field behind the ale house and dream of playing in the big league!

You will need to download the 7's Pre & Post Game sequence from the useful documents page as well as the 7's roster to submit your team or team's. Send your completed roster or roster's to k.baker789@btinternet.com and if it checks out ok you're in.

The basic requirements are 7 to 11 players not exceeding 600k value with no more than four positionals. re-rolls are way more expensive. you will see all this when you fill in the team list.

This is a ladder league like the conference but you can't just hop off this one to the the big time league, you have to earn it. The ladder is competitive and only the top dog team gets to go to the big time i.e. they can re-draft as one of the big boys. There is also a minimum number of games to qualify for the top spot, you must play at least six. Having said that you can play whoever you like whenever you like with the only stipulation being that no coach can match up their own teams even if another coach is playing with one of them.

Points are awarded as in the big league and the team with the most gets the opportunity. Teams do not have to leave the 7's they can choose to stay in the amateur game if they wish.

You will need the death zone book for the rules and a 7's pitch and dugouts. It's quite different to the normal pitch although 7's markings can be added to a full size pitch.

You can use the report result button for reporting your games it has a 7's selection.

After a little discussion there is no ABBL magic sponge for the amateur game also worth bearing in mind the casualty rules are different for 7's, after breaking armour all results are decided on the following 2d6 roll. There is no d16 roll player could be dead already.

Apothecary services are more expensive in 7's at 80k and these junior players are probably not worth their efforts anyway.

Good luck Have fun.
