The Skink'un
The Skink'un began it's time covering the ABBL at the start of Season 3. Regular ABBL commentators, Al 'Half-hands' McGee and Grundar Grundarsson had been forced to temporarily leave their position as head pundits (no-one is exactly sure why, but it's fair to say Grundar is no longer married and Al was getting bored anyway...), leaving a large hole to be filled... in stepped the, then fan publication, the Skink'un and history started to be made!

The now trademark, quick-fire style of reporting from the Skink'un, focusing on quick, easy to digest chunks of information (clearly the guys running the newsletter knew their readership well!) went down well and proved extremely popular. So popular, that the editors realised they were on to a good thing and decided to negotiate for a better contract. Unfortunately, this led to the whole of The Skink'un staff going on strike and no more issues of the magazine were published after week 5 of Season 3, leaving most of the season with no coverage whatsoever! By the time Season 4 came round, a new deal had been struck with the new owners of the ABBL, the A.N.U.S. and the Skink'Un returned, better than ever!
Ever adapting to the fanbase and the practical realities of getting magazines published to a tight schedule, Season 6 saw a shift to seasonal newsletters focusing on the weather seasons in the ABBL and a reduced output of just 4 issues and this is the format currently adopted by the ABBL.
