The Destroyers are back in the big time! After almost 'making it' in season 4 and 5 (Semi-Finalists in Season 4 and Finalists in Season 5) they went and spent a few seasons in the Conference, building up a quite impressive record whilst there. Coming in to Season 9 with only 12 defeats in 54 games, confidence is riding high for the former pub team.
The Destroyers have come a long way since the days of the Dietfurt Arms Antagonists and great players have come and gone. With the new regulations, all of them are back to square one and, in an effort to increase local engagement and diversity, they've even started letting Dwarves back in the team! Freshbough Bendyroot took retirement and the Ogre, Bogdan Boulderfist has taken his place while some familiar names have returned for the comeback including the deadly combo of the Thrower, Lazarus Frockle and Catcher, Montegue DeFroyne. The fans are expecting great things...
